Play Teeth of the Dog

The #1 ranked golf course in the Caribbean, designed by Pete Dye with seven holes along the ocean. Even if you're not a serious golfer, playing this course is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Green fees are ~$350-400 for resort guests, including cart and caddie.

Spend a Day at Minitas Beach

Casa de Campo's private white-sand beach is exclusively for resort guests, so it never feels crowded. Calm, turquoise water perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available, and there's a beachside restaurant for lunch and cocktails.

Explore Altos de Chavón

A replica 16th-century Mediterranean village perched on cliffs 300 feet above the Chavón River. Art galleries, artisan shops, a cultural museum, and the 5,000-seat amphitheater where Frank Sinatra performed. Wander the cobblestone streets at sunset — it's magical.

Dinner at La Marina

The resort's waterfront marina district has 10+ restaurants, bars, and shops along the yacht-lined harbor. From Italian (Pepperoni) to Mediterranean (SBG) to sushi (Chinois), there's something for every mood. Walk the marina at night with a cocktail — it's the social heart of Casa de Campo.

Golf at Dye Fore

Pete Dye's dramatic 27-hole course on 300-foot cliffs above the Chavón River and Caribbean Sea. Three nines (Marina, Chavón, Lagos) offer variety and some of the most photographed holes in golf. Slightly lower green fees than Teeth of the Dog.

Take a Boat Trip to Isla Catalina or Saona

Two stunning islands within a short boat ride from the resort. Isla Catalina is known for snorkeling and diving (including a shipwreck). Isla Saona has postcard-perfect sandbanks and starfish. We arrange private or group boat trips for our guests.

Horseback Riding at the Equestrian Center

Casa de Campo has one of the Caribbean's finest equestrian facilities with over 150 horses. Trail rides through the resort's countryside, jumping lessons, and polo matches. A unique experience you won't find at most Caribbean resorts.

The Dominican Republic produces some of the world's finest cigars. Tabacalera de García (one of the world's largest cigar factories) is just 15 minutes from the resort. Watch master rollers at work and pick up a box of premium cigars at factory prices.
